JOHN 5 AND THE CREATURS With Dead Girls Academy and Jared James Nichols The Chance Theater Poughkeepsie, New York March 14, 2019 Photos & Review by Frank Piercy Another night at The Chance! That makes four times in just under four weeks for me. Surely this place is a hot spot for some great music coming through town. This time though, I am here to review the tour for the latest album of guitarist extraordinaire John 5. On a short break from between Rob Zombie albums and tours, John has put together an interesting line up. Kicking the night off is an LA Band, DeadRead More →

LORDS OF ACID Brighton Music Hall Allston, Massachusetts March 13, 2019 Photos & Review by Michael LaFleche The sold out Brighton Music Hall Wednesday night was was the scene where a sea of fans in fishnet, leather, and viny throbbed to the pulsing rhythms of the industrial metal scene. The Lords of Acid plus other bands on the “Pretty in Kink” tour were performing their well known hits along with some new ones. GABRIEL AND THE APOCALYPSE Wearing 9-inch platform boots, Lindy Gabriel of Gabriel and the Apocalypse literally kicked off the festivities performing the best of their industrial infusion of goth hard rock. FATES WARNING The Palladium Worcester, Massachusetts March 10, 2019 Photos & Review by Dan Wenc Fates Warning was out on the road with Queensryche. A perfect compliment to this Queensryche tour. Fates Warning was no stranger to the New England area. The band originated from the Connecticut area during the early 80’s. Having gained international fame in the mid 80s. Like many other bands originating from the 80’s era, and continue to remain popular to this day, band had undergone a number of personnel changes over the years. Today the band is still going strong with a recent album released in 2016. Jim Matheos (guitar)Read More →

SHINEDOWN With ASKING ALEXANDRIA Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville, Connecticut March 2, 2019 There is nothing like the energy of a Sold Out arena rock show. The Mohegan Sun Arena has a 10,000-person capacity, which means most of those people in addition to ALL the other people there for the Wolf Den show or just to gamble or party all had to have a place a park. Because there it was a sold out show and Mohegan Sun is such a hub of entertainment. Whether it might be a night like this to see a rock show, a free Wolf Den show, gamble or dine atRead More →
