Skid Row made their way to the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den in Uncasville, Connecticut on November 8th 2019. The Den was completely packed with many old school Skid Row fans. I myself am one. The line-up for this tour was ZP Theart (lead vocals), Rachel Bolan (bass), Dave “The snake” Sabo (rhythm guitar), Scotti Hill (lead guitar) and Rob Hammersmith (drums).
They started their set off with “Big Guns” from their multi platinum, self-titled studio album Skid Row. Keeping the momentum and energy up, they went right into the next song “Riot Act” from their double platinum release Slave to the Grind. A good portion of the set list was comprised of songs off of their first two albums. During a 13 minute version of “Monkey Business”, Snake and Scotti Hill went back and forth trading off solos. They even played a little snippet of Pantera’s “Cowboys from Hell”. Rachel Bolan took over the lead vocals for one song. He sang “Psyco Therapy” from the “Ramones”. Skid Row ended the night with their anthem from “Youth Gone Wild”. An incredible performance, Skid Row has never let me down. They always put 100% into their shows. I wish Sebastian and the guys could put their differences aside and do a tour. Do it for the fans.
