POP EVIL
Xfinity Theatre
Hartford, Connecticut
June 14, 2018
Summer 2018 and Pop Evil is out on the road with a couple of the most legendary bands of the 70’s and 80’s. Out on the road with Cheap Trick and Poison. Enter Pop Evil as the next generation of rock and roll.
Pop Evil is a relatively young band from Michigan, Leigh Kakaty on lead vocals, Dave Grahs and Nick Fuelling on Guitars, Matt DiRito on Bass and Hayley Cramer on Drums. Their Connecticut fan base were out in force and the crowd welcomed them with open arms. The put on a strong nine song set which was performed with boundless energy that radiated to the crowd, songs such as, “Boss’s Daughter”, “100 in a 55”, “Waking Lions” and more. A bit harder then Cheap Trick and Poison but definitely a wise decision having them on this bill.
