HARTFORD, Conn. – It has been a while since I have been in The Webster and I could hardly contain my excitement. Tonight it was to catch George Lynch’s band Lynch Mob on its last run. So many of the bands from the 80s seem to be calling it a day this year. It was a great turn out for the show, starting with the opening band, Lone Wolf James.
I first ran into these guys at a festival in New Hampshire called Laconia Fest. It is good to see one of the talented rock bands from the upper reaches of New England playing in our neck of the woods for a change. They picked a great night to record a video with a very enthusiastic crowd making noise.

Following them was a band from Springfield Missouri, Paralandra.
A band that consists of the father and daughter team Cassandra (Singer and Guitarist) and Paul Carson (Guitarist) with Sawyer Rikard on Bass and Dakota Watson on drums. They performed a tight, energetic and great sounding set. The crowd really welcomed them to Hartford and enjoyed their set.

The crowd grew even larger as the time came near for Lynch Mob to hit the stage. A crowd eager to see one of their favorite guitarists on his last tour. Lynch Mob has seen a few line up changes over the years, but the constant has been the same, great music by great musicians, with former Bullet Boy Jimmy D’Anda on drums, Gabriel Colon singing and Jaron Gulino on bass. I have seen a couple of different line ups of Lynch Mob and this is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a shot of the setlist and in my old age, I tend to forget things very very easily so I cant give you a list of what was played, other than the one or two I do look forward to like River of Love and also Wicked Sensation. The one song that I think everyone will remember is Mr Scary (Dokken) where Cassandra from Paralandra came out and played with George. What a great show and the crowd loved it and I loved it, the crowd was a lot bigger than expected.

I hope that it is just an end to touring and not a total end to Lynch Mob.
